Production Line Fault Display

The production line fault display(PLFD) is a display unit that displays faults in the production line. It is interfaced to the PLC controlling the production line The PLFD get fault codes from the PLC, the fault codes is displayed in the display. The display is to display the following things:
- The top led matrix display of 4inch and 15 digits displays the present fault codes occuring.
- The middle section consists of two digit fault code, three digit Occurrence and three digit down time.
- The 4’’ 4 digit seven segment display on the left bottom side displays the time with the middle dots flashing at half a second.
- The 4’’ 4 digit seven segment display on the right bottom side displays the total down time caused by each faults in a cummulative way.
The settings of PLFD can be set by PC Software or using Hyperterminal.
